NOTES: This song is arranged for a single acoustic guitar and therefore adds
some notes to fill in the missing bass line. Remember, all "B" chords are really
"B/F#". I hope this helps someone to play it live. --kidguitar.
INTRO RIFF: For the intro riff, alternately remove your finger from the "D"
string to mimic the bass line (this temporarily forms the E7 chord). When
forming this E7, be sure not to pick the low "E" string to emphasize the bass
line. Alternately, you can emphasize this bass line by also removing your
finger from the "A" string to form an implied E7sus4 (its implied b/c there is
no "5th," but I digress). To emphasize the vibrato chord notes (3 and 1, i.e.
G# and E), slide to a partial chord at the fourth fret. During the intro, if
you alternate measures with the A2 and the A chord, you can mimic the subtle
A2 sound. Remember, all suspended chords have a memory to the ear (that's why
they're call 'suspended' tones).

VERSE CHORDS: If the A2 becomes overpowering, alternate measures with A2 and
A
CHORUS: When playing the A/C# chord, don't even try to finger the fifth fret
on the high "e" string, just concentrate on the fifth fret of the "B" string.
BRIDGE: This is fun. If the chord has an "alt" by it, alternately take your
lowest fretted finger off the chord to openly ring open between strums.
Here's the tab.
